Stayed with my family for a day and they gave me a free upgrade to the room with sea view. Friendly staff, and they got a clean swimming pool in which we enjoyed a great evening. They do have enough parking space as well. Food taste need to improve.

A true Taj-group experience. Driven by courtesies and personal connect. Rest everything falls into place. The priority is placed prime, in the heart of the city. The staff is well integrated and ultra responsive. Undoubtedly, one of the best places to stay in Mangaluru.

The property is really clean and comfortable. The staff have a high customer first attitude. Sudeesh was courteous enough to provide us space for freshening up and change after an all day tour and he ensured we had a safe cab service Anush ensured we had a smooth check in when we arrived early morning and half asleep and so as deepa. Overall staff experience is a delight

The entire experience from booking, check-in, room, dining etc to check-out was first rate. Added to this was the courteousness and caring approach of the ever- smiling staff of the hotel. The breakfast spread was most agreeable and filling.

Although not a 5 star hotel but I would like to give that 5 star to this one. Had a wonderful experience, rooms were clean and very comfortable beds. Food was excellent and service for it was excellent as well. Front desk was very very helpful and very prompt as well. Overall I would recommend this hotel in Mangalore for everyone.

Great stay and hospitality. My parents had a comfortable experience. Would recommend the place for my friends who will be visiting Mangalore. Sudheer EV (staff) was particularly helpful with great professionalism and friendly approach.

The renovated rooms and bathrooms are excellent. The staff courteous and helpful. The breakfast as nice. The Chinese restaurant Memories of China was good. The only issue is there is only one slot in the foyer which means only one car can disembark and all the other cars following will have to wait of the luggage to be removed etc

Have been visiting Vivanta Taj Old Port Road, Mangalore for at least 5 years now. It is an exceptionally friendly place. The staff are the best. They make us feel comfortable and relaxed. Great job by Management on selecting and training the right people. Memories of China Restaurant is a welcome addition to the property and gives it class. The food is exceptional clearly the best Chinese in Mangalore. (Prices are a bit on the higher side for Mangalore). Biswajit the Chef does an amazing job. One piece of strong advice to the Chef " it is good to do some P.R. at the table but the Chef should not spend too much time with customers. They are at Memories of China to spend time with each other and not have to listen to the Chef's stories. Please make sure that doesn't happen. But still a very good experience Thank you
